Bircher Muesli

The Swiss version of overnight oats and so much better! With a hint of vanilla and cinnamon combined with the sweetness of bananas and apricots. Make it the night before and have a delicious breakfast in the morning!

Breakfast for 4 people

100 g rolled oats

100 ml milk

400 g plain yoghurt

1 large apple (grated)

2 bananas (mashed)

1/4 tsp vanilla paste

2 tsp cinnamon powder

2 tbsp honey

50 g raisins

50 g dried apricots (finely cut into cubes)

50 g almonds (sliced very finely)

  1. In a large bowl add the oats and the milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes so that the oats start to absorb the liquid.
  2. Add all the other ingredients and combine. Let it sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours, but ideally overnight.
  3. Before serving add the almonds on top and BON APPÉTIT!
